Where "Building Healthy Organizations"  Is Our Priority!

The Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) is an organization committed to the economic empowerment of African-American communities throughout Sangamon County. The SBCC also provides opportunities for business owners and other professionals to network and develop an awareness of business products and services. The SBCC is also focused on building healthy and prosperous organizations through education, advocacy, public and private partnerships, and access to resources.

Building Healthy Organizations Initiative
The Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) has launched the "Building Healthy Organizations Initiative" which is designed to support and expand the efforts of local minority-owned businesses.

Quantum Growth Partnership
The Quantum Growth Partnership (Q5) is the economic development arm of The
Chamber. Public, private, and nonprofit sectors have come together with the following
goal: to grow Sangamon County by improving our ability to create jobs, attract talent,
and make capital investment. The second five-year cycle of Q5 began in 2012. We
remain committed to Sangamon County's long-term prosperity and vitality through the
five key strategies of Q5. Each strategy is led by a Q5 council.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)
The Springfield Project, together with the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce, and a consortium of organizations will lead a multi-pronged approach of demolition, land banking, rehabilitation, and new construction in East Springfield Illinois.
